Description We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Roseland, New Jersey. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks and support financial operations, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the seamless management of financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

• Conduct collection calls to ensure timely payments from clients.

• Compile and analyze bank and credit card information for reconciliation purposes.

• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Reconcile financial accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Review and input accounting entries into the system.

• Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and procedures. Requirements • Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliation tasks.

• Understanding of account reconciliation procedures.

• Experience with accounts receivable (AR) operations.

• Ability to accurately input and manage accounting entries.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients during collection calls.

• Proficiency in data entry with keen attention to detail.

• Organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
