Job Title: Quality Systems Specialist
Job Description
As a Quality Systems Specialist, you will collaborate with Engineering and Configuration Management teams to ensure designs adhere to a structured release process. You will work closely with Supply Chain teams to uphold Supplier Management processes, and audit critical documents like Bills of Materials and Engineering Drawings to ensure compliance with procedures. You will also generate audit reports and support Document Control efforts.
Responsibilities
+ Provide Quality Systems support for Engineering and Configuration Management.
+ Assist with audits to ensure conformance to government and industry requirements and standards.
+ Help maintain revision control of Quality Management System (QMS) documents related to Engineering and Configuration Management.
+ Conduct audits related to Engineering and Configuration Management and write detailed reports on audit findings.
+ Compose, revise, and maintain internal procedures and documents related to Engineering and Configuration Management.
+ Provide Quality Systems support for Supply Chain.
+ Help maintain revision control of QMS documents related to Shipping & Receiving, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
+ Conduct audits related to Shipping & Receiving, Inventory, and Supply Chain and write detailed reports on audit findings.
+ Compose, revise, and maintain internal procedures and documents related to Shipping & Receiving, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
+ Support engineering change management activities and ensure BOM structures and engineering processes remain intact.
+ Audit design review steps and flow gates, including SRR, PDR, and CDR.
+ Perform revision control audits on BOMs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Teamcenter, PLM, and auditing.
+ Understanding of CAD drafting, configuration management, BOM, and revision control.
+ Strong understanding of change management, particularly in engineering change processes.
+ Experience with Oracle and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Bachelor degree or equivalent training, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with revision control of documents and parts.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Investigative mindset with a detail-oriented focus.
+ Ability to report on audit findings in detail.
+ 1+ years experience working with Bills of Materials/Configuration Management.
+ 1+ years experience working with Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and RMA.
+ Working knowledge of inventory and Kanban systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality standards.
+ Experience in a highly regulated industry.
+ Certification as an AS9100/AS6500 aerospace auditor or lead auditor certification.
+ Experience with RCCA/CAPA process and Effectiveness Verification.
+ Experience in a low volume manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with version control of software, in GitHub or similar environments.
+ Working knowledge of ERP and PLM tools, like Oracle and Teamcenter.
Work Environment
This role requires onsite presence to ensure effective collaboration and adherence to quality standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $86000.00 - $93000.00/hr.
