Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Prescription Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This is a work-from-home position that requires strong communication skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment as we adopt new technologies and systems.
Responsibilities
+ Perform high-volume data entry of prescription orders into the system.
+ Process prescription refills accurately and efficiently.
+ Contact doctors’ offices for refill authorizations and prescription clarifications.
+ Verify prescriptions against state-specific rules and regulations.
+ Maintain open communication, teamwork, and trust within the department.
+ Adapt to new business initiatives, systems, and technology.
+ Type 95 prescriptions per day when working in the preqa queue.
+ Work 72 referrals per day when in the pharmacy callback queue.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in order and data entry.
+ Possess a Pharmacy Technician license.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma.
+ Pharmacy Technician License from Texas, Missouri, or California.
+ TSBP Registration for those located in Texas.
Work Environment
This position is remote, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6 PM. Our team values a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration, fostering a supportive work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
