    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to join our team, specializing in commercial interiors construction. Our projects cover a diverse range of sectors including aviation, education, government, hospitality, and tenant fit-outs. As a Superintendent, you will manage and direct the construction of various projects within our portfolio, ensuring successful project completion from bid to award.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

    + Oversee projects from bid to completion, with budgets ranging from $100k to $10M.

    + Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents.

    + Manage the RFI and submittal process.

    + Create and maintain project schedules.

    + Bid on new projects, conduct scope reviews, and coordinate with subcontractors for project estimates.

    + Review, process, and negotiate change orders.

    + Create and track project budgets.

    + Engage in marketing and business development activities.

    + Manage 2-3+ projects simultaneously.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience as a General Contractor Superintendent.

    + Proficiency in commercial construction, including scheduling, RFIs, and submittals.

    + Ability to bid jobs and engage in marketing.

    + Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with projects valued between $500k and $10M.

    + Specialization in interiors/SCIF projects.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in our office located in Fairfax, VA. The company fosters an open and team-oriented environment. Employees work closely with company owners and executives. As a mid-sized firm, we handle approximately $50M in projects annually.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $55.00/hr.
