Description
We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth office operations by managing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Perform accurate data entry to maintain organized and up-to-date records.
• Manage email correspondence and ensure timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently while maintaining calendars.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to prepare documents and presentations.
• Support daily office operations and maintain an organized workspace.
• Assist in planning and coordinating meetings or events.
• Address administrative needs and provide support to team members as required.
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in data entry.
• Experience in scheduling and managing appointments.
• Customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and problem-solving.
