    This role combines strategic direction and hands-on leadership, ensuring the NA local alignment with global priorities while delivering programs that strengthen our cost competitive position in North America.

     

    Your Tasks

     

    + Lead & manage the North America’s program purchasing activities for Product Line SBS

    + Accountable for production material management in NA from cradle to grave

    + Deliver OP Targets - PPV and SBS P&L perspectives for NA

    + Provide CQA support for NA new business bids

    + Drive end-to-end Value Chain Management (E2E + TCO) within SBS supply chain

    + Constantly optimize product costs including VAVE, resourcing, localization or TCO approach and make & buy, building strong & sustainable saving pipeline for NA

    + Provide supplier and market intelligence to the business.

    + Strategic supplier base development incl. supplier readiness for new technology

    + Maintain sourcing pipeline and ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality sourcing & program launches

    + New Program Introduction (NPI) and SWAT initiatives, incl. GDPEP Planning

    + Product change management & Capacity Bottleneck Management

    + Use data analytics and emerging digital tools to boost team efficiency

    + Drive sustainability requirements into product, supplier base and PFS

    + Ensure full process compliance within Materials Management and Product Line SBS

    + Manage Interfaces with CP, SDE, SCM, CE, ENG, PM, Sales, Regions

    + Manage “Directed Buys” and internal suppliers

    + Lead, develop, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of NA program purchasing, empower team members to move beyond firefighting and develop into strategic program leaders

     

    Your Profile

     

    + Bachelor's degree

    + Experience in purchasing, supplier development or equivalent with good technical & commercial understanding

    + Demonstrated success in leading a team, with a focus on performance, development, and cross-functional coordination

    + Demonstrated successful cost reduction initiatives showing deep understanding of cost structures and relentless in driving sustainable savings

    + Skilled in interpreting data and applying data-driven and digital solutions to optimize efficiency outcomes
