Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Battle Creek, Michigan. This contract position offers an opportunity to support essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

• Process daily invoices and manage accounts receivable tasks with precision.

• Perform account reconciliations for utility bills and credit card statements.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry for all accounting-related functions.

• Handle accounts payable processes, verifying and approving payments as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow.

• Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and account reconciliations.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
