    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Vendor Relations Clerk I to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing vendor interactions and ensuring operational efficiency. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to contribute to improving vendor processes and maintaining accurate data for reporting and billing purposes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to customer requests by coordinating with vendors to complete repairs and fulfill equipment needs.

    • Record and track incoming issues in designated systems while ensuring timely follow-ups with vendors and clients to meet deadlines.

    • Provide continuous updates to customers and maintain accurate data in systems.

    • Address daily vendor-related issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them efficiently.

    • Review and process quotes from vendors to determine next steps, including ordering parts and addressing waste management needs.

    • Utilize systems to verify accuracy of work orders, ensuring efficient processing and correct data for reporting and billing.

    • Manage assigned territory orders, meeting individual and team metrics while maintaining data accuracy.

    • Analyze processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

    • Interact with external parties to resolve operational issues, including vendors, intercompany departments, and outsourced partners.

    • Assist with onboarding new vendors and support the development of process improvement solutions related to vendor management. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    • Strong customer service skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors.

    • Proficiency in office functions, including accurate data entry and reporting.

    • Experience with process improvement and recommending operational enhancements.

    • Ability to review and analyze vendor quotes and information for decision-making.

    • Skilled in resolving issues efficiently and maintaining detail-oriented interactions.

    • Basic keyboarding and computer skills to handle work orders and reporting systems.
