Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Technician to join our team on a temporary basis (1-3 months), with potential for full-time hire in the future. You will assist with a variety of laboratory tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine laboratory testing, including HC, GC, pH, color, and turbidity analysis.

+ Conduct microbiology work such as culturing and making plates.

+ Execute titration and related chemical tests.

+ Prepare and maintain lab equipment and samples.

+ Accurately record and report test results.

+ Follow all safety and PPE guidelines.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to work quickly and learn new tasks efficiently.

+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

+ Experience with titration and general lab techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Candidates with a scientific background or prior lab experience are preferred.

+ If you have a degree, relevant hands-on experience is expected.

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and handle lab materials safely.

Work Environment

This role operates in a GMP environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime or Saturday work if tasks are not completed during regular hours. PPE guidelines must be followed, and jewelry is not allowed when culturing samples. Nose rings are permitted if covered with a provided blue bandage. Temporary staff will not enter production areas.

This is a Contract position based out of Folsom, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
