Job Description
The cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold food items.
+ Follow recipes and portion specifications accurately.
+ Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Ensure food service is timely and of high quality.
+ Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and workstations.
+ Assist in inventory control and management.
+ Wash dishes and ensure proper sanitation standards are met.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in food preparation and cooking techniques.
+ Ability to use all kitchen equipment effectively.
+ Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong ability to follow instructions and recipes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with cooking fish, chicken, and meat.
+ Skill in cold and hot food preparation.
+ Effective use of knives for chopping, slicing, and dicing.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 6 am to 2 pm on weekdays and from 7 am to 4 pm on weekends. The role requires flexibility and commitment to working during these hours in a dynamic kitchen environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $17.10/hr.
