Warehouse Associate - Weekly Pay

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate where you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and shipment of orders. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, handling various tasks from order picking to shipping, and ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory system.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a stand-up desk to process orders and generate shippable pick tickets using a desktop computer and Warehouse Management System (WMS).

+ Pick products from inventory on a first-in/first-out basis and verify the correct part and quantity using lot numbers and electronic weigh scales.

+ Perform shipping feedback operations, detail line items with proper lot numbers, and print customer package labels.

+ Ensure accurate label placement on packages and segregate orders with special quality assurance requirements.

+ Package orders securely to prevent damage during transit and apply appropriate shipping labels.

+ Utilize UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager for parcel management and handle alternative shipping carriers as needed.

+ Load and unload trucks using hand or pallet jack, perform CAT3 incoming receiving and inspection.

+ Initiate shipment tracking and conduct physical inventory counts at required cycle times.

+ Handle subcontractor returns, customer returns, stock rotations, and special processing products efficiently.

+ Generate shipping records as per industry standards, including UPS manifest, trucking bills of lading, and export documentation.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of inventory processing experience.

+ 1+ year of order fulfillment experience.

+ Order picking and cycle counting.

+ Shipping and receiving expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ year of shipping experience preferred.

+ Warehouse/stockroom experience required.

+ Math and computer skills required.

+ Forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in a small warehouse environment with a team of five people. The position is a 1st shift role from 8am-5pm, including a 1-hour lunch break with 30 minutes paid. The workspace includes stand-up desks, a stockroom at the back of the building, and a shipping area with dock doors on the other side.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
