Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a tenured Maintenance Engineer with a well-rounded in electrical and hydraulic systems, ideally with experience in a manufacturing environment. While PLC troubleshooting experience is valued, it is not mandatory. The role involves diagnosing problems with injection molding and blow molding processes and rotating between three different machine groups. Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on industrial or manufacturing equipment.
+ Work with 480-volt electrical systems and three-phase circuits.
+ Diagnose hydraulic circuit boards and address issues in injection and blow molding processes.
+ Rotate between different machine groups to ensure operational efficiency.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally as part of maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician.
+ Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical, electrical 480v, and hydraulic systems.
+ Basic knowledge of PLCs and the ability to troubleshoot and repair circuits.
+ Experience with 24v controls, signals, relays, and circuit tracing.
+ Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams and blueprints.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and a resourceful, eager-to-learn attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with injection or blow mold machine maintenance is preferred.
+ Ability to read ladder logic and troubleshoot contactors and transformers.
+ Knowledge of wiring in parallel and understanding of grounding electrical circuits.
+ Familiarity with heating coils and Fanuc robot programming.
+ Passing a written assessment is required.

Work Environment
The role offers a fast-paced work environment with options for 1st shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) or 3rd shift with a $2 shift differential. The maintenance team lead expects efficient work from the team. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
