Maintenance Technician $26-$37/hr. Apply Now!!!

**Shift:** 2nd shift - 2pm-10:30pm (Monday to Friday)

3rd shift - 6pm-6:30am with a 2,2,3 schedule.

Job Description

+ Monitor production areas to ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and intervene for repairs as necessary.

+ Utilize hand and power tools to diagnose, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment..

+ Assist with installation of new equipment or modify existing equipment as required.

+ Make suggestions for corrective measures when downtime results from mechanical or technical defects.

+ Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

+ Minimum of 6 months industrial maintenance experience.

+ Comfortable and experienced with hand and power tools of all varieties.

+ Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure and industrial blueprints.

+ Basic knowledge and safety understanding of electrical components.

+ Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and calculating percentages.

+ Ability to operate a forklift, scissors lift, or any other powered equipment or machinery as needed.

+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

+ Ability to consistently practice and enforce safe working habits.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new chicken processing facility that is highly automated, processing 1 million chickens in a 24-hour cycle. The facility is owned by a reputable company and offers excellent working conditions. Enjoy working on the The environment is refrigerated, ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit, and requires wearing appropriate PPE as designated by company policy.
