Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Weekly Pay

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate receipt and shipment of materials, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Review scheduled receipts and shipments for the day.

+ Ensure accurate receipt of material into the facility, including raw, packaging, and Co-Pack items, and verify outgoing shipments match the bill of lading.

+ Complete required forms and paperwork for proper receipt of material using the Sage ERP system.

+ Conduct quality checks on materials, focusing on color and moisture.

+ Stage shipments and unload and store finished goods.

+ Ensure adherence to food safety and quality objectives, ensuring products meet company policy, regulatory requirements, and Safe Quality Food certification standards.

+ Coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.

+ Implement and actively participate in the company safety program (AWAIR), holding regular meetings and training sessions with all employees in coordination with other production supervisors.

+ Create and foster a safe work environment, meeting government and other regulatory agency requirements.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in forklift operation and possession of a Forklift License.

+ Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.

+ Understanding of logistics, inventory control, and packaging.

+ Experience with ERP systems and data entry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cannon Falls, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
