Job Title: Feeder Machine Operator** **Job Description
As a Feeder Machine Operator, you will be responsible for completing make-ready tasks at the feeder and delivery sections. This role involves taking off completed cartons and stacking them on pallets, assisting with ink installation, operating equipment, making adjustments, conducting tests, and completing required quality checks. You will also fill in when the assistant press operator is absent, perform housekeeping duties, and take on other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
+ Complete make-ready at the feeder and delivery sections.
+ Take off completed cartons and stack them on pallets.
+ Assist operations with ink installation, equipment operation, adjustments, and tests.
+ Conduct required quality checks.
+ Fill in for the assistant press operator when needed.
+ Perform housekeeping duties.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
+ Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Proficiency in production and machine operation.
+ General labor and machine operating skills.
+ Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
+ Write routine reports and communicate effectively in English, with Spanish being a plus.
+ Perform basic arithmetic and interpret bar graphs.
+ Compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
+ Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
+ Interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
+ Experience in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Work Environment
This position offers flexibility with one opening on either the 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on what works best for the candidate. The facility operates 24/7, and shifts can be 8 hours or 12 hours with rotating schedules. Overtime is mandatory and provides additional earning potential. The work environment requires steel toe boots, with gloves, ear plugs, and safety glasses provided. Safety is prioritized, although the facility is not climate-controlled. There are approximately 170 employees, fostering a community atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenixville, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.68 - $21.68/hr.
