    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a warehouse worker in our container management and racking warehouse system. This role involves managing containers and racks, which previously housed various parts, at our East Moline location, where all racks are processed, and our Davenport location, which handles a mixture of racks and totes. This position offers an opportunity to work with products similar to those handled at XPAC, translating well into our forklift position.

    Responsibilities

    + Clean incoming dirty containers and ensure they are ready for dispatch.

    + Operate the washing machine for plastic totes, including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning totes.

    + Stand during the entire shift with breaks, requiring extensive bending but no heavy lifting.

    + Process inbound containers and racks in the floor lanes, removing manufacturer tags and using a hand scanner.

    + Repair large plastic containers, ranging from 2x2 to 8x8, using hand drills and screwdrivers.

    + Operate a forklift for the majority of the day, involving loading and unloading trucks, reading paperwork, and ensuring correct containers are shipped.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating forklifts, including passing a forklift test involving driving forward and backward through cones and lifting pallets.

    + Experience with inventory management and using RF scanners.

    + Six months of recent labor or forklift experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment requires standing for entire shifts with breaks, and involves using various tools and equipment, including hand drills, screwdrivers, and hand scanners. The facility operates on a shift basis, and employees are expected to work overtime and Saturdays as needed. The dress code is casual and appropriate for a warehouse setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
