    Job Title: King Air Aircraft Mechanic** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled King Air Aircraft Mechanic to perform light maintenance on King Air 200 aircraft. When work is slow on this airframe, the technician will be required to cross-train on the rotorcrafts in our hangar. This role involves conducting minor airframe inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing scheduled maintenance and inspections per regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct minor airframe inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.

    + Remove and install major components, including structural repairs and component overhauls.

    + Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements.

    + Track and balance aircraft components for optimal performance.

    + Remove and replace components as necessary to support aircraft operations.

    + Overhaul avionics components to ensure functionality and safety.

    + Travel to client sites for minimal day trips.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with King Air 200 or 300 series aircraft.

    + Troubleshooting, airframe, heavy maintenance, and inspection skills.

    + A&P license preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience on King Air 200 or 300 series.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Bell helicopter models 206 to 412.

    + Ability to cross-train on rotorcrafts.

    Work Environment

    Work primarily involves Bell and MD rotorcraft within a Bell customer service facility and FAA Part 145 repair station. The team consists of a DOM, accountable manager, shop supervisor, lead mechanic, and six mechanics. The facility includes an overhaul shop and maintenance shop with approximately 15 mechanics. Located in the southeast US, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with possible fieldwork and minimal travel, mostly day trips. Mechanics share weekend or evening duties for emergencies.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
