    Job Title: Mailing Operator** **Job Description

     

    The Mailing Operator is responsible for efficiently and safely maintaining, operating, and assisting with mailing equipment to produce quality products. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional printing solutions that meet our clients' needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.

    + Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

    + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed.

    + Assist in quality control checks to identify any defects or issues before final output.

    + Set up and load material onto inkjet machines, inserter, machine tabber, and various other machines.

    + Read and follow manufacturing instructions and deliver products per the specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous experience operating equipment in a printing or manufacturing environment is preferred.

    + Attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate quality control checks.

    + Capable of standing for extended periods during shifts.

    + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Computer experience is required.

    + Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset.

    + Commitment to following all safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.

    + Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum 2 years of bindery or finishing experience in a commercial printing environment.

    + Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

    + Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a manufacturing environment that is well-lit but can be loud when all machines are running. The role is on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 11pm, with 7.5 hour workdays.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
