Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician you will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring machinery reliability. You will be responsible for performing complex mechanical and electrical repairs to keep production equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain presses, hydraulic presses, and similar equipment.

+ Perform routine preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all systems and equipment.

+ Conduct scheduled servicing of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent breakdowns.

+ Execute mechanical repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and minor fabrication tasks.

+ Diagnose failures in motors, pumps, compressors, chillers, boilers, and production equipment.

+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stamping presses and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.

+ Assist with die changes, press adjustments, and tooling alignment.

+ Replace defective parts, align machinery, and restore equipment to optimal performance.

+ Support press operators during setup, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.

+ Work on resolving issues with stamping machines, dies, presses, and robotics through extensive testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance with lead experience.

+ Expertise in troubleshooting, blueprint reading, industrial maintenance, hydraulic systems, and press maintenance.

+ Proficiency in electrical maintenance, 3-phase systems, pneumatics, welding, and preventive maintenance.

+ Experience in conduit wiring and mechanical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 4+ years in industrial or electrical maintenance.

+ Vocational training or certifications in mechanical/electrical maintenance preferred.

+ Hands-on expertise with presses, hydraulic presses, or similar heavy machinery (preferred but not required).

+ Skilled in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.

+ Ability to work closely with teams including operators, technicians, and engineers.

Work Environment

The facility features a large and clean environment with fully enclosed, highly automated press equipment. Steel toes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high-visibility vest are required. Acceptable attire includes jeans or work pants without holes, rips, shorts, or leggings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Stanton, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $52.00/hr.
