    Job Title:** **Senior** **CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    As a Senior CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis CNC machines. You’ll work closely with our engineering and quoting teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality production of complex components.

    Responsibilities

    + Program complex parts using GibbsCAM for multi-axis CNC machines.

    + Set up and operate machines including but not limited to HAAS UMC 500SS (5-axis high-speed milling), Puma TT2100SYYB (twin-spindle, twin-turret lathe with Y-axis), Doosan LYNX 2100LSY (sub-spindle lathe with live tooling), and CITIZEN Miyano BNE65MYY (Swiss-style turning with dual Y-axis).

    + Collaborate with engineers to improve part manufacturability and support DFM initiatives.

    + Perform quoting and time estimation based on blueprints and CAD models.

    + Conduct first-article inspections and maintain tight tolerances (±0.0002”).

    + Design custom fixtures and select tooling to optimize cycle times and reduce setup.

    Essential Skills

    + 8+ years of CNC machining experience, with at least 3 years in a lead role.

    + Expert-level proficiency with 5-axis and multi-spindle/multi-turret CNC machines.

    + Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision metrology.

    + Experience in aerospace, medical device, or automotive manufacturing environments.

    + Ability to work independently and mentor junior machinists.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with SolidWorks or AutoCAD for model interpretation.

    + Experience with quoting software or ERP systems.

    + Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training is a plus.

    + OSHA and GD&T certifications are a bonus.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
