Job Title: 3rd shift General Production Workers

Pay rate: $19/hr

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing environment. The position requires individuals who are reliable, capable of being on their feet for an entire shift, and able to work effectively within a team setting. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting wood for defects and marking them, as well as stacking lumber on the production line.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect wood for defects and mark them appropriately.

+ Stack lumber from the production line and organize with similar wood.

+ Work in lumber stacking, which involves physical tasks such as lifting and stacking wood.

+ Participate in the inspection area, focusing on attention to detail to identify defects.

Essential Skills

+ Reliability and punctuality.

+ Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for an entire shift.

+ Teamwork and collaboration in a team setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not required.

+ No formal certifications or diploma required.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting, requiring teamwork on production lines. Employees are expected to wear a T-shirt, jeans, and steel-toe boots. Shifts include daily overtime and may involve working Saturdays, with start times ranging from 6:00 am to 8:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beavertown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
