Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description

Join our team as a TIG Welder, where you will utilize your skills in TIG or heliarc techniques to weld thin stainless steel. You will be involved in producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.

Responsibilities

+ Perform TIG welding on thin stainless steel using heliarc techniques.

+ Produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.

+ Utilize and interpret blueprints and GD&T for welding processes.

+ Engage in intricate welding processes, both hand and machine, to develop complex fabrications.

+ Operate welding equipment and manage machine settings for various welding processes.

+ Perform fixturing and set-up as required.

+ Ensure all work meets the prescribed standards for quality.

Essential Skills

+ A minimum of 7+ years of welding experience.

+ Proficiency in TIG Welding and MIG Welding.

+ Strong math skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in various positions.

+ Experience in using a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in food-grade welding and wire feed techniques.

+ Familiarity with the operation of welding equipment and machine settings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
