Job Title: Aluminum Welder** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled aluminum welder to join our team. In this role, you will utilize MIG spool gun and TIG welding techniques to fabricate and weld aluminum structures and piping. You will also be required to weld other materials such as carbon and stainless steel when aluminum work is not available. Your primary responsibility will be to fit, cut, assemble, and weld materials according to blueprints to build our equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Weld aluminum structures and piping using MIG spool gun and TIG welding techniques.
+ Fabricate materials by fitting, cutting, assembling, and welding according to blueprints.
+ Perform welding on carbon and stainless steel when aluminum work is not available.
+ Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of welding experience.
+ 3+ years of experience in welding aluminum.
+ Proficiency in MIG welding, flux core welding, and aluminum fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to perform light fitting.
+ Experience in TIG welding.
+ Capability to weld pipe.

Work Environment
The work environment is an open-aired shop, operating from 6am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77032.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
