General Production Workers – Hershey, PA

Pay:** Up to **$20/hour

Shifts:

+ **2nd Shift:** 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

+ **3rd Shift:** 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

+ _(Training provided on 1st shift)_

About the Role

We’re hiring **General Production Workers** to join our team in Hershey, PA! This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, organized facility and be part of a team that values safety, quality, and growth. Multiple roles are available, including **Tray Scraper/Magazine Supply, Cupper, Picker, Handpacker, Wrapped Inspection, and Friendly’s Station** .

What You’ll Do

Depending on your station, responsibilities may include:

Tray Scraper / Magazine Supply

+ Maintain sanitary gloves and replace as needed during rotations

+ Supply cups for cup setter magazines

+ Clear cup paper jams and keep the cupsetter area clean

+ Scrape trays as required

Cupper

+ Ensure correct cup paper size for each product

+ Verify each tray cavity has one cup paper; correct errors promptly

+ Replace damaged or misaligned cup papers

+ Clean Tonnaer screw when the line is down for extended periods

Picker

+ Remove defective products from inspection belt

+ Monitor for jams and perform metal checks every two hours

+ Clean metal detection probes and sweep platform

+ Start/stop main line when necessary

Handpacker

+ Fill cases with the correct number of bags

+ Monitor bag seals for integrity

Wrapped Inspection

+ Inspect wrapped products and perform metal checks

+ Reset main line after wrapping stops

Friendly’s Station

+ Rotate through stations efficiently

+ Fill and seal cases, track finished product quality

+ Record case counts accurately

Requirements & Details

+ Experience in production, packaging, or food manufacturing preferred

+ Must be able to work **2nd or 3rd shift** (training provided on 1st shift)

+ Steel or composite-toed shoes required

+ Ability to follow safety protocols

+ Comfortable with standing, rotating tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hershey, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
