Overview
The Director, Revenue Technology and Tools at is a visionary leader dedicated to transforming our revenue-generating capabilities through a seamless and secure technological ecosystem. This leader will integrate cutting-edge solutions, including AI, to drive productivity and enhance the user experience. The role involves enabling teams via an optimized tech stack that supports CRM, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success initiatives. The Head of Revenue Tech and Tools empowers customer-facing teams to be confident, informed, and efficient from their first interaction through to closing and retention. Establishing reliable feedback loops to continuously improve and iterate on technology solutions is crucial to addressing pain points and scaling best practices across the organization. Reporting to the Sr Director, Revenue Operations, the Director, Revenue Tech and Tools will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, HR, Product, Channel Partners, and IT, ensuring seamless alignment and integration of technology initiatives with Paychex's broader strategic objectives for sustained success and market leadership.
Responsibilities
+ Lead teams focused on CRM, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success technology and support, driving multi-year GTM tech strategy, empowering them to set objectives, prioritize capabilities, optimize resourcing, and determine build vs. buy decisions.
+ Develop and execute a multi-year RevTech strategy to support CRM, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, delivering an optimized tech stack that enhances productivity and user experience.
+ Lead vendor selection processes, optimize total cost of ownership, and manage budgeting to ensure cost-efficiency and high performance across technology platforms.
+ Ensure seamless integration across tools, simplifying workflows for sellers and customer success managers, and enhancing processes with AI technologies.
+ Partner with PDIT to align core infrastructure decisions with GTM tech strategy, including ERP, billing, and data management systems.
+ Establish feedback loops to measure feature adoption and iterate on the technology roadmap based on insights and business outcomes.
+ Implement robust security, permissions, and compliance controls in partnership with IT and Security departments to protect customer and company data.
+ Develop and implement change management programs and in-app training to drive user adoption and optimize technology utilization.
Qualifications
+ - Required
+ 10+ years of experience in leading enterprise applications for Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success, with a proven track record in technology strategy and execution.
+ 5 years of experience in senior-level or executive-level leadership.
+ 5 years of experience in driving technology adoption and ROI across B2B sales environments.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $185,000 to $285,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
