**Astronics AES** is seeking a **Shipping Clerk** to join our team in **Kirkland, WA** .

This is an onsite position, working Monday - Friday in the facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The Shipping Clerk will schedule, process and track product shipments in partnership with internal and external customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Perform administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods

+ Communicate and coordinate with transportation companies

+ Handle routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle

+ Log order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary

+ Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges

+ Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped

+ Review customer orders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Demonstrates awareness of job duties (typically <1 year of direct experience in the essential functions of the position).

+ Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship and UPS Worldship desired.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

+ As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). **Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.**

+ An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and **drug test including screening for the use of cannabis.**

Base salary is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour dependant on experience.
