    THE POSITION

    Do you possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment? The Department of Transportation, Washington County Maintenance Organization is currently looking for a Stock Clerk 1 to work in our Winter Maintenance Program, where you will play a vital role in the efficient management and organization of inventory within our facility.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    This position entails both manual and clerical responsibilities associated with the receipt and distribution of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. You will perform hands-on tasks while also handling basic clerical duties, such as maintaining inventory records, preparing reorder lists, and verifying received items against purchase orders. Furthermore, you may support various storeroom operations, including the receipt of goods and processing requisition orders. The role demands physical effort and routine clerical work to manage straightforward store records, often using mechanized equipment for material handling.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    + Full seasonal employment

    + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

    + Shift work required for the winter

    + Telework: Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    + Graduation from high school ;or

    + Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
