    Job Title : School Nurse

     

    Location : Suffolk County, NY

     

    Schedule : Monday - Friday : School Hours

     

    (with potential for bus rides or after school needs )

     

    Pay : $38 / hour - $48 / hour

    Position Overview :

    We are hiring LPNs and RNs to provide 1:1 care for students in school settings . This includes monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and ensuring the student's safety throughout the school day. You'll work closely with school staff , families , and our clinical team to deliver exceptional care.

    Qualifications :

    + LPN or RN License issued by NYS

    + Current CPR/BLS Certification

    + Pediatric or School Nursing experience preferred

    + Ability to work independently in a school setting

    + Communicate with families , school staff , and healthcare providers

    Compensation :

    + LPN : $38/hour

    + RN : $48/hour

    + Weekly pay - direct deposit

    + Overtime opportunities available

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform patient care duties and treatments as per care plan.

    + Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.

    + Administer medications and other personalized interventions.

    + Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.

    + Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.

    + Must be able to lift 50lbs.

    + Must be able to stand/work for extended periods

    + Additional responsibilities as required.
