Gibbs Oil Company is actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team.

This position is located at our busy convenience store, where you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service.

As the Assistant Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

+ Collaborating with the store manager to oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, and training.

+ Maintaining store presentation and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

+ Providing outstanding customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

+ Managing inventory, placing orders, and stocking shelves to ensure product availability.

+ Assisting with sales goals and promotional activities to maximize profitability.

+ Performing regular audits of cash handling and daily transactions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

+ Previous experience in retail management or related field

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills

+ Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Proficient in handling cash transactions and maintaining sales records

+ Experience in inventory management and merchandising

+ Ability to train and motivate team members to achieve store goals

+ A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
