    CTG (Dallas, TX)


    CTG is seeking a Technical Consultant in Threat Detection Content & Administration for our client.

     

    **Location:** Dallas, TX

    **Duration:** 3 months

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage and maintain SIEM, SOAR, EDR, AV, and cloud security controls.

    + Develop, implement, and optimize use cases, detection rules, tuning reports, and run books.

    + Ensure security infrastructures are patched, upgraded, and functioning efficiently.

    + Analyze system/network activity, indicators of compromise, and attacker tactics.

    + Apply MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity frameworks to classify attacks and assess risk.

    + Deliver use cases, detection rules, run books, and security policy recommendations.

    + Support 24/7 SOC operations, including shift coverage as needed.

    Required Skills:

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

    + Knowledge of industrial protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104).

    + Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and IIDS platforms.

    Experience & Education:

    + 2-4 years in a cybersecurity role.

    + 1-2 years in OT/SCADA environments preferred.

    + High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.

    + Relevant certifications (Network+, Security+, CySA+) a plus.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.
