    _Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a_ **_Maintenance Technician_** **_4_** _based out of_ **_Apopka, Florida._**

     

    _Northrop Grumman’s semiconductor foundry and packaging lines have unique capabilities of supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, Silicon Carbide) and providing leading-edge technology development._

     

    _What You’ll get to Do:_

     

    _Responsibilities include aspects of maintaining the semiconductor equipment. The chosen candidate will perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and calibration on equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs. Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment. May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required. The candidate will need excellent verbal and written communication skills. Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in the prescribed format._

     

    _Minimal travel._

     

    _****NOTE: This will be a 2nd Shift role with a 10% Shift differential****_

    _Basic Qualifications Maintenance Technician_** **_4_** **_:_

    + _An Associate’s degree in a technical area with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in maintenance and repair in lieu of a degree._

    + _Demonstrated ability to work with cross-organizational teams such as engineering, production managers, operators, and technicians._

    + _The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance_

    + _U.S. citizen required_

    _Preferred Qualifications Maintenance Technician_** **_4_** **_:_

    + _Experience with semiconductor equipment._

    + _Experience with handling chemicals_

    + _Experience in low-volume/high-product-mix environments_

    + _Experience interfacing with vendors for equipment repairs, service contracts, and purchase preferred_

    + _Strong leadership and communication skills._

    Primary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $104,500.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
