Job Title: Facilities Building Automation & Maintenance Engineering Technician
Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $34.00-$42.00/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift
Overview:
Medical Device Manufacturing Company is seeking skilled Facilities Technician to join their team! This role offers a newer, modern environment where your skills directly impact the production of life-changing medical technologies.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform advanced troubleshooting of building automation and facilities equipment
+ Develop, update, and maintain PM tasking, work instructions, and control logic
+ Support onsite operators and mechanics with technical guidance
+ Analyze automation and maintenance data to identify performance trends and corrective actions
+ Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams on validations and improvements
Requirements:
+ Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3–5 years of facilities, automation, or maintenance engineering experience
+ Must have HVAC experience
+ Hands-on experience with building automation systems (BAS) and facilities equipment
+ Strong troubleshooting capability across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
+ Experience developing or modifying automation software instructions
+ Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (BACnet, ModBus, LonTalk, PLCs, HMIs)
