    Job Summary

    The **Harrison College of Pharmacy** is excited to recruit candidates for a **Student Services Coordinator,** who will provide varied and high-level administration and coordinate projects in our Experiential Programs Office (EPO ). This professional position will require a high degree of personal judgement and collaboration in coordinating complex academic projects and program administration, with limited supervision.

     

    The study of Pharmacy began at Auburn University in 1885. For more than 135 years, Auburn has trained pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists that continue to improve health outcomes in their communities and the world.

    Essential Functions

    + Provide administrative support for the Experiential Programs Office (EPO ), coordination of Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE andAPPE ) courses, HCOP’s Interprofessional Education Program (IPE ), and HCOP’s Professional Development Program (co-curriculum).

    + Coordinate projects, programs, and activities and provide services and/or advisement for the Director of Experiential Operations and Co-curriculum, Director of Interprofessional Education, and Executive Director.

    + Collaborate with the Executive Director andIPPE Coordinator to maintain and improve experiential program quality.

    + Collaborate with the Executive Director to provide preceptor development, recognition, and engagement opportunities.

    + Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify and establish new experiential training sites.

    + Assist the Executive Director of Experiential Programs with training site visits/meetings as needed.

    + Assist the Executive Director with faculty practice site agreements.

    + Assist with pharmacy practice experience rotations/reports/procedures to include but not be limited to affiliate faculty appointment processing.

    + Review and maintain student records by assisting with student requirements compliance, issues, questions and/or generating reports.

    + Assist with student intern/extern licensure applications and documentation for Boards of Pharmacy.

    + Coordinate the development and/or preparation of informational materials relevant to students and preceptors such as (but not limited to) creating brochures, newsletters, or other forms of communication.

    + Enter data into various databases/programs; manipulate/analyze data; run reports; and present data in various formats as requested.

    + Participate in student mentoring program and serve as P4 student success liaison.

    + Assist in activities related to the pharmacy accreditation process.

    + Explore opportunities for grants which can enhance theHCOP experiential program.

    + Demonstrate high degrees of creativity, initiative, and critical thinking in dealing with conditions/situations not well defined in standard operating procedures.

    + Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Strong organizational skills

    + Ability to work independently with limited supervision

    + Good critical thinking skills

    + Ability to work Non-traditional hours

    + Willingness to travel locally when needed

    Minimum Technology Skills

    + Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe programs

    + Experience using Canvas Learning Management System

    + Qualtrics

    + Microsoft Teams
