Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFO) in the Corporate Operations Department (10), ACIO/Information Technology (IT) Division (104), Cyber Security Branch (1043) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. Responsibilities You will serve as the Branch Manager for Cyber Security Office (1043). You will be responsible for the overall Command's Cyber Security (CS) Program and coordinates and tasks Code 1043 personnel and contractor support, as well as external department Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) personnel. You will manage all aspects of the CS and the development, implementation, interpretation, accreditation, risk management and maintenance of CS policies, plans, programs, standard operating procedures, and criteria ensuring a successful program. You will act as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and reports directly to the Information Assurance (IA) Authority of the NSWC IHD (the Commanding Officer), and to the Activity Command Information Officer (ACIO), Code 104/00I. You will communicate directly with the Commanding Officer and Technical Director to report the overall IT security posture status weekly. You will act as a voting member on the IT Change Review Boards (CRB) for RDTE and Operational IT Networks and systems. You will work directly with RDTE and Operational Network and System Administrators to ensure Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) are implemented and validated. You will ensure systems are continuously monitored and documentation of the results are entered into their respective plan of action and milestones (POAMs) within Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). You will work with the Security Division (105) to review and define all physical security requirements for classified assets. You will directly work with the Warfare Center for all reporting requirements to include RMF Authority to Operate (ATO) status, CSWF, Vulnerability Reporting Asset Management (VRAM), Firewall Ports and Protocols and Cybersecurity-related data-calls. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing or leading the development, implementation or compliance with IT policies and procedures to identify risks and recommend corrective actions for the improvement and success of IT assets or programs. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Education Additional Information This position may be eligible for Supervisory Pay Differential of up to four (4) percent.
