Position Description:
Performs supervisory work in the care and maintenance of an assigned area. Supervises and coordinates workers in areas such as agriculture, athletics, grounds, housing and residence halls, physical plant, maintenance, etc.

Major/Essential Functions:
+ Supervise the daily operations of the Support Services area, as well as the day-to-day maintenance and appearance of the Rawls College of Business (internal and external).
+ Initiate and supervise the maintenance of all furnishings and equipment, in coordination with relevant departments.
+ Initiate and supervise work orders for maintenance and repairs that are reported-including all building and classroom furniture, fixtures, lights, security cameras, appliances, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, etc. Maintains log of work orders.
+ Use independent judgement to assign tasks related to repairs, maintenance, and custodial tasks for the interior and exterior of the building and surrounding property.
+ Responsible for communication and collaboration with event coordinators to ensure completion of all logistics regarding College events.
+ Communicate with Physical Plant and TTU Police Department about building hours to regulate air handler timers and door lock schedules.
+ Serve as Building Emergency Manager (BEM) and is responsible for implementing the Emergency Action Plan for Rawls College of Business, including training and drills for various emergency situations and maintaining equipment such as AED and extinguishers.
+ Oversee the implementation and process of construction and other Rawls College of Business projects as needed.
+ Prepare offices and/or work spaces for the arrival of new personnel and the relocation of current ones.
+ Oversee the use of the Rawls College of Business parking lot, and central driveway with University Parking Services.
+ Serve as backup for both the KMS system for Rawls College of Business key orders and the Driver Approval System.
+ Manage the up-keep and service of the Rawls golf cart.
+ Serves as the primary after-hours contact for the Rawls College of Business for all building-related communication, including emergencies.

The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration is AACSB accredited and houses the School of Accounting that holds separate AACSB accreditation. The college offers the BBA degree with majors in accounting, energy commerce, finance, information technology, management, marketing, and supply chain management. Several formats of the MBA program are offered in full-time, weekend, and online modalities in Lubbock, the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Houston, and San Antonio. The College offers MS degrees in accounting, data science, finance, and marketing research and analytics. A Ph.D. in business administration is offered with tracks in accounting, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing.
