Overview
Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership. Our team is composed of finance operations, accounting, supply chain, corporate strategy & development and tax professionals that support and enhance Intuit's operating efficiencies.
We are seeking a highly accomplished Principal Process Architect to join our Core Finance team as a strategic partner and accelerator. In this role of significant impact, you will serve as the catalyst for translating our strategic vision into concrete reality, simplifying inherent complexity, championing end-to-end automation, and delivering real-time insights that fundamentally shift our finance operations from a reactive to a proactive posture.
This position will require strong cross-functional skills, effective program management and change management skills, exceptional communication and planning skills, be able to work effectively with diverse groups, be skillful with quantitative/qualitative analytical methodologies and tools, use data to drive decisions, able to solve complex problems, able to identify and manage risks, identify correction action early, drive escalations and decisions to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects to completion with the highest level of quality. This individual needs to be a driver, leader, team player and a thought partner.
Responsibilities
+ Strategic Process Architecture: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for transformation initiatives that align with finance priorities, ensuring a unified vision across the enterprise finance.
+ Program Execution: Drives cross-functional execution of a program, from requirements to delivery and ensures that a program delivers on time with high quality, within budget and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives.
+ Operational Excellence & Innovation: Lead initiatives to streamline ambiguous & inefficient workflows within the core finance function. Focus accelerating and optimization operations by replacing manual tasks with automated capabilities.
+ Solution Design & Development: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design scalable financial solutions. Ensure that new capabilities are innovative, repeatable, and aligned with organizational growth.
+ Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the trusted advisor to the finance organization. Influence decision-making at senior levels to define strategies that prioritize finance initiatives and operational fluency.
+ Analytical Decision Support: Utilize advanced data analysis to guide executive decision-making. Execute strategies that integrate stakeholder requirements across the end-to-end financial journey.
+ Adoption & Change Leadership: Spearhead the change management efforts for transformation initiatives, including developing and executing targeted communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and comprehensive training programs to ensure successful adoption and full integration of new processes and systems.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles with deep domain expertise in financial systems, processes and large-scale transformation projects.
+ Proven track record of orchestrating large-scale, multi-year finance transformation programs, effectively managing dependencies between technical implementations (ERP, SaaS) and business process re-engineering efforts.
+ Expert understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) and their application in a systems environment.
+ Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into a scalable system architecture.
+ Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization. You must be able to influence cross-functional senior leaders to use data and insights to inform business strategies.
+ Proven ability to lead large-scale change initiatives, operate without boundaries, and influence actions that align teams on business strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's degree (MBA) or a professional certification (CPA, PMP).
+ Experience with Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud modules
+ Experience working in technology and fintech industries
+ Formal training and experience in project management and change management methodologies.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View, CA: $206,500-$279,000
San Diego, CA: $180,000-$243,000
