    Job Description

    As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist with monitoring financial markets, as well as the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of credit pricing for potential transactions. You will assist in analyzing trends or patterns in production volume, document trades or transactions based on the analysis of financial market data, support processes that transfer a portion of credit risk to private capital, and document pricing according to the associated risk of the asset.

     

    *THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE*

    The Capital Markets - Market Transactions - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    * Develop and build relationships with external lender partners or other market makers to provide credit pricing information on transactions.

    * Implement new pricing methodologies and strategies to ensure pricing is consistent with current market environment and reduces operational risk.

    * Develop and build strong relationships with internal front end facing teams to provide pricing information on potential loans.

    * Assist with monitoring financial markets to capitalize on recognized patterns or according to a strategy.

    * Track financial market activities, use internal valuation, and risk models to assist with analysis, and build proficiency with market data sources.

    * Maintain historical pricing data on Fannie Mae and its competitors.

    * Maintain and coordinate the delivery of pricing information to internal and external market participants.

    * Communicate and implement pricing changes by collaborating with product development teams and key stakeholders.

    * Provide support for operational activities.

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Desired Experiences:

    * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

    * Experience using Salesforce CRM

    * Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

    * Experience providing data, insights, and expert advice to management or other groups on people, process, systems, or technology-related topics

    * Translating technical/expert information for technical and non-technical audiences

     

    The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict

     

    * Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

    * Experience monitoring and analyzing market conditions, including: volume, price, competition, and/or dynamics, as well as interpreting financial market data and trends

     

    Salary Target: $83,000 - $108,000

    For most roles, employees are expected to work onsite on a regular basis at their designated office location. In-office work cadence is determined by your manager.     The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. This position is eligible to participate in a Fannie Mae incentive program (subject to the terms of the program).
