We are seeking a **_Research Program Analyst_** to collaborate closely with the Program for Implementation and Equity Research, part of the Center for Public Health and Human Rights in the Department of Epidemiology. The research portfolio includes both global and domestic HIV implementation science studies funded by the NIH.
The Research Program Analyst will oversee the implementation of studies focused on housing and homelessness among youth, with particular attention to the use of direct cash transfers to prevent and address housing instability. Responsibilities include coordinating with community-based organization partners and ensuring the timely completion of project deliverables. This position requires a deep commitment to advancing housing stability and equity for young people through evidence-based and community-informed research.
The Research Program Analyst leads a specialized function in a research program that may include data management planning, research design, data driven program evaluation, optimizing funding opportunities and/or other technical duties that contribute to the quality and advancement of the research.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
+ Identify research initiatives and inquiries to advance and assess the research priorities of the faculty.
+ Lead research initiatives, e.g., data management activities, program evaluation, internal and external reporting.
+ Contribute to the preparation and writing of reports to funders, manuscripts for publication, and presentations for internal and professional meetings.
+ Provide and/or contribute to mentoring and training efforts.
+ Consult with and advise faculty and leadership on systems, policies and practices key to research success.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Closely collaborate with PI on project implementation.
+ Develop and present findings through webinars, team meetings, and community forums.
+ Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication and produce study reports for funders and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in a related field.
+ Five years of related experience in research focus area.
+ Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Authorship on articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
+ Experience writing manuscripts and grants.
