Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to oversee the development and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions across our global organization. This role will lead a team of offshore developers (contractors/contingent workers) and collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), Product Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving excellence in enterprise cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and manage a team of offshore Salesforce developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.

+ Collaborate with Salesforce Admins, BSAs, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

+ Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other platform tools.

+ Oversee code reviews, technical documentation, and deployment processes.

+ Ensure compliance with Salesforce development standards, security protocols, and integration patterns.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

+ Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.

+ Coordinate with integration teams working on SAP S/4HANA, SAP Commerce, and other enterprise systems via middleware (e.g., SAP CPI).

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

+ 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.

+ Proven experience managing offshore development teams.

+ Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.

+ Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices.

+ Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP CPI).

+ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Technical Architect) are a plus.

+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Base Pay

Expected Base Pay Range: $1350,000 to $182,000 Annualized

The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.

In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for certain Bonuses.
