    Responsibilities

    Lead, coordinate, and oversee the development and delivery of complex technology projects across multiple accounts. Serve as a technical resource throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, managing business analysis, software design, development, and quality assurance. Represent the Software Delivery Team in customer and third-party interactions and collaborate with business account teams and lottery customers to define and execute software delivery roadmaps. Manage budgets and forecasts for multiple accounts and actively participate in incident management for critical lottery system issues. Apply a disciplined approach to software development and lead delivery engineers, ensuring effective customer engagement and financial planning.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop software delivery roadmaps aligned with customer strategies

    + Define and evaluate project scope and manage delivery activities

    + Oversee project resources and materials

    + Facilitate cross-disciplinary communication and problem resolution

    + Implement corporate and customer processes and procedures

    + Act as liaison between customers and project teams

    + Monitor resource assignments and escalate as needed

    + Track project progress and report status

    + Analyze and forecast project spending and program budgets

    + Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement

    + Support multiple lottery customers and concurrent projects

    + Manage incident resolution and software delivery improvement initiatives

    Scope & Impact:

    + High complexity: Projects feature aggressive timelines and multiple change requests, with resources typically under 20 per delivery

    + Significant autonomy: Operates under regional oversight, developing approaches for software delivery and project execution

    + High impact: Directly contributes to organizational goals; errors may require senior intervention

    + Diverse teams: Includes international members across time zones

    + Extensive liaison: Frequent interaction with account teams and customers

    + High challenge: Requires adaptability, composure under pressure, and effective leadership

    + Financial accountability: Responsible for managing a $3M program portfolio and ensuring on-budget delivery

    Management Structure:

    + Reports directly to Manager, Regional Delivery Lead

    + Indirect reporting to matrix managers by project type

    + Directly manages assigned project team members

    + Authority includes work assignments, vacation approval, professional development, and policy adherence

    + Influences project personnel to follow project policies and procedures

    + Manages geographically dispersed teams, emphasizing communication and coordination

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in management, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

    + 3–4 years of relevant experience leading project teams to successful delivery

    + Knowledge of CMMI, PMBOK, SDLC; Certified ScrumMaster preferred

    + Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961 - $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
