    Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard?

     

    What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.

     

    As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

     

    + Candidate must have the ability to walk and stand for 8+ hours. Candidate must have the ability to work weekends and overnights(10pm to 6am)as well as other shifts if needed. Holidays may be needed to work. Days on/ off will vary based on site needs. Not guaranteed full time hours.

    + Competitive hourly wage starting at $22.40/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

    Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

     

    + Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

    + Verify identities and control access to secure areas

    + React quickly to threats or incidents

    + Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras

    + Document incidents and actions taken

    + Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks

    + Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

    + Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

     

    Qualifications of Surveillance Security Guard

     

    + You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)

    + You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

    + You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more

    + You have an active Virginia DCJS security license

    + You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements

    + Must have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems. Must have experience with Incident/ DAR reports
