    The Katherine Thomas School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, 10-month Speech Language Pathologist or CF, beginning with the current school year. KTS services students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or moderate to high functioning autism. This is a 10-month position) Equal Opportunity Employer

     

    The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language and autism. This position would be a split between High School and Middle School.

     

    Salary is $62,500 to $79,000 for 10 months, based on experience.

     

    Salary for the CF is $62,500 for 10 months.

    Required Experience for the Speech Language Pathologist:

    + Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or equivalent degree

    + Must be licensed by the State of MD

    + Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and Social Thinking is a plus

    + Have strong diagnostic evaluation and report writing skills
