    Job Summary:

    The Vice President of Product Management & Delivery will be a senior technology and product leader responsible for building, maturing, and integrating the product management, enterprise delivery, and modernization capabilities required for growth at scale. This leader will bring structure and alignment, establish clear roadmaps, mature core delivery practices, and ensure technology is aligned with enterprise architecture standards to achieve the sector’s long-term growth objectives.

     

    The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Foodbuy Technology.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership & Product Vision

    + Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives and market needs, driving product innovation and differentiation.

    + Drive cross-functional collaboration across product management, engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and business goals.

    + Define and own the 18-month product and technology roadmap for the sector in alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.

    + Partner with the SVP to represent the sector’s technology strategy and progress with senior leadership, including the CTO and enterprise leadership teams.

    + Deliver modernization strategy for menu management, supply chain systems, ordering, financial processing, and vendor partnerships.

    Product Management

    + Build and mature the product management function, integrating business product owners and technology product managers into a cohesive operating model.

    + Establish standard product practices including discovery, prioritization, roadmap management, requirements gathering, story writing, and epic planning.

    + Introduce strong product analytics, KPIs, and metrics to ensure data-driven decisions.

    Architecture & Modernization

    + Partner with enterprise architects and engineering teams to define the sector’s target-state architecture, emphasizing modularity, scalability, and modernization.

    + Lead prioritization of technical debt removal, system redesigns, platform upgrades, and new foundational capabilities required for growth.

    + Ensure systems can scale for future acquisitions/clients and projected sector growth.

    Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

    + Operate as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the SVP; provide clear, honest recommendations and influence change in a complex environment.

    + Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

    + Communicate seamlessly with business partners across all levels

    Organizational Development

    + Build, hire, and develop a high-performing team across product, delivery, and solution management.

    + Create a culture of collaboration, transparency, excellence, and forward-thinking execution.

    Qualifications:

    + **Executive Experience** :10+ years of progressive leadership experience across product management, project management, enterprise delivery practices, and technology transformation.

    + **Product Leadership:** Proven executive level experience (preferably VP level or above) in product management within retail, supply chain, food services, hospitality, or related field.

    + **Optimization:** Demonstrated success leading organizational modernization and change management, particularly shifting legacy systems, spreadsheets, and manual processes into scalable platforms.

    + **Product Delivery** : Strong experience building or maturing Product Operations, Engineering Partnership and Alignment, Quality Assurance Testing, Delivery / Release Management. Direct experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, MIRO, Figma, PowerPoint, Agile, and Waterfall.

    + **Business Acumen:** Exceptional communication skills with the ability to “speak multiple languages” (engineering, business, operations, and executive leadership)

    + **Product Vision and Road mapping:** Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year product and technology roadmaps.

    + **Project Management:** Ensures complex, multi-sector initiatives from architectural upgrades to capability modernization are delivered with clarity, accountability, and measurable business impact.

    + **Product Lifecycle Management:** Oversee all aspects of product management, from conceptualization and planning through development, testing, and successful launch.

    + **Team Leadership:** Recruit, build, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, designers, and developers.

    + **Product Roadmap:** Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business objectives.

    + **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with engineering, architecture, marketing, sales, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and a unified product vision.

    + **Market and Customer Focus:** Conduct market research to identify trends, understand customer needs, and analyze the competitive landscape. Engage with customers to gather feedback.

    + **Financial Management:** Manage product budgets and make critical decisions regarding product pricing.

    + **Performance Metrics:** Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals for the product team.

    + **Innovation:** Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product organization.
