Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in the aerospace/defense industry. The Project Coordinator will support the NPD Program Manager and project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Project Planning:** Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
+ **Scheduling:** Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Support the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
+ **Budget Management:** Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report any variances. Assist in meeting Product Cost Targets based on future business projections.
+ **Documentation:** Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project deliverables. Generate and release program work authorization documentation.
+ **Communication:** Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Maintain positive communication and relationships with all company functional areas.
+ **Risk Management:** Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
+ **Compliance:** Ensure all project activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
+ **Support:** Provide administrative support to the NPD Program Manager, project managers, and team members as needed. Assist in preparing and presenting program review reports.
+ **Customer Relations:** Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Qualifications:
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, project management, or a related field.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
+ Knowledge of aerospace/defense industry standards and regulations.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
+ Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Familiarity with DOD pricing and contract experience.
+ Experience in supporting Integrated Project Teams (IPT).

Pay Range
The hourly salary for this position (in local currency) is $22.83-$42.35.
Is this role subject to ITAR?
The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
