We are searching for the best talent for Production Scheduler (2 positions).
**Purpose:** This role provides direct assistance to the production planning resources to support the production planning processes. As a primary job it will assist in the delivery of a detailed production schedule to the manufacturing floor on a timely basis to maintain efficient production. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.
You will be responsible for** **:
+ Generates, prints, organizes, reconciles, and delivers production orders to the manufacturing floor as per established detailed schedule
+ Helps obtain and compile progress of production information from department supervisors.
+ Assists with tracking status of WIP units in the manufacturing floor and progress of order processing
+ Connects with operations and planning resources to support successful and on time execution of planned production orders.
+ Maintains production data as needed to be used in preparation of production reports.
+ Generates and presents standard reports to keep production planners aware of potential trends, backlogs, underperformance or overperformance of production as required.
+ Collaborates with operations resources as needed to resolve problems and/or adjust the established plan to continue supporting the on-time delivery of scheduled orders.
+ Supports the scheduling and execution of marketing samples processing in partnership with operations resources.
+ Supports continuous improvement projects and programs to achieve work simplification, eliminates non-value-added activities, and cost reduction.
Qualifications / Requirements:
+ A minimum of a High School diploma is required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
+ Two (2) years of experience in a regulated environment, Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices is preferred.
+ Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish is required.
+ Demonstrates strong computer skills, such as the use of Microsoft Office is required.
+ Working knowledge in SAP is required.
+ Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and/or 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
