Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a culinologist/research chef to join a global food and beverages company on a hybrid basis. As a Culinologist, the day is primarily spent in the kitchen (about 70% of your time), where you lead new product development by prototyping and refining recipes based on consumer insights and technical feasibility. You’ll translate trends and flavor preferences into scalable food concepts, collaborating closely with ingredient and seasoning partners like McCormick. Around 10% of your time involves travel—such as visiting flavor vendors in New Jersey—to stay connected with the latest ingredient innovations. The remaining time is spent managing emails, sourcing ingredients, coordinating with vendors, and documenting your work through detailed recipes, formulas, and data. This role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Pay rate: 30-35/hr
