• Senior Manager of Global Procurement

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Manager of Global Procurement to join a cybersecurity client in the Bay Area.

     

    • Lead global procurement activities on an interim basis, supporting stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, G&A, and Facilities in sourcing software, cloud services, professional services, marketing services and other indirect spend

    • Own day-to-day procurement execution, including intake, RFPs/RFQs, vendor evaluation, negotiations, contract support, and vendor onboarding

    • Drive immediate cost-reduction and cost-avoidance opportunities, with a focus on SaaS tools, cloud infrastructure, security vendors, and consulting spend

    • Improve payment terms and cash-flow outcomes through vendor negotiations and contract renewals

    • Own and enforce procurement policies and approval frameworks, including spend thresholds, purchase order requirements, and signature authority

    • Partner closely with Legal, Security, Privacy, FP&A, and IT to coordinate reviews and approvals aligned with enterprise software requirements (e.g., data security, compliance, budget adherence)

    • Maintain and track core procurement metrics, including cost savings, policy compliance, purchase order cycle time, and supplier performance

    Skills and Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, including senior-level responsibility within an enterprise software or SaaS environment

    • Proven ability to step into complex organizations quickly and deliver results in an interim or consulting capacity

    • Deep experience negotiating and executing software, cloud, data, and professional services agreements

    • Strong cross-functional partnership skills, particularly with Finance, Legal, Security, IT, and Compliance teams

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

    • Hands-on experience with Coupa or a comparable procurement platform

    • Experience in cybersecurity or high-growth B2B SaaS strongly preferred

    • Indirect purchasing experience (i.e. we are typically buying software, professional services, marketing event, etc. We do not have inventory or hardware to source)
