    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking skilled Marine Electricians to perform the following onsite in Kings Bay, GA:

    Non-Nuclear Electrical Work: Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot and test various electrical and electronics systems, circuits, controls, instruments and equipment. Also includes installation of wire ways and cabling.

     

    Marine Electricians Topside Electrical Work: Remove, Disassemble, inspect, repair, adjust, test, and install external electrical systems cabling in tanks, voids, and sails. Includes installation of hull fittings, penetrators, and tank level indicators.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 2+ years recent / relevant exp. on submarines

     

    - Security Clearance: Must be eligible for or hold an active security clearance (due to defense -

     

    related work).

     

    - Trained and experienced in cutting in cables and hooking up equipment, panels, and boxes following Navy Standard Methods Drawings - Fiber Optics license

     

    - Certifications: OSHA 10 (active), Confined Space (IG to provide candidates)
