Job Description
Insight Globals client is seeking to hire a Technical Project Manager with experience in Vulnerability Management to work onsite at a leading Energy and Utility provider. The Technical Project Manager leads enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives with a primary focus on vulnerability management. This role spans technical, operational, and strategic functions to ensure systems and applications remain secure, compliant, and resilient.
• Develop and execute vulnerability management strategy, governance, and secure development practices.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and remediation across infrastructure, applications, and third-party systems.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate across teams to prioritize and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Act as liaison between cybersecurity, IT, engineering, and business units; translate technical risks into business impact.
• Provide executive updates on risk posture and remediation progress.
• Define and track KPIs (e.g., remediation SLAs, risk scores); build dashboards and reports.
• Continuously improve program based on metrics and evolving threats.
pay range: $55-65/hr

Skills and Requirements
• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• 5+ years of technical experience in Vulnerability Management
• experience setting up vulnerability management at a company including leading strategy, roadmap, tooling, teams, execution plan, etc.
• Strong hands-on experience with cyber security tools including –
o Risk mngmnt and scanning tools – Qualys, Tenable Nessus
o Network and cloud tools – Palo Alto, Cisco
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management process and lifecycle
