    Description

    The responsibilities of this appointment will be to prepare for and provide musical accompaniment in collaboration with the instructor for **DANC 365** Sansifanyi:West African Dance & Drum Ensemble in **the Program of Dance and Movement in Spring 2026** from **January 16 -** to **May 15** **th** **, 2026** . As necessary, the program director in consultation with the dean will assign and change distribution of duties

    Qualifications

    At least three years accompaniment experience for West African Dance forms

     

    Drumming/Accompaniment experience at the University/college level

     

    At least eight years experience practicing West African drumming
